Jenny Randerson and Jenny Willott congratulate Jacob Evans, the winner of their Christmas Card competition

Jacob Evans, a year six pupil at Marlborough Junior School, will see his design adorning local MP, Jenny Willott and local Assembly Member, Jenny Randerson's Christmas cards this year after winning a competition to design their official card for 2006.

Jacob was presented with his prize of a £10 book voucher on Thursday 20th December at a special assembly at Marlborough Junior School. He and his parents will also be taken for tea in either the House of Commons or the new Welsh Assembly Senedd building as part of his prize.

The design was chosen out of over 500 entries from pupils of local schools.

Jenny Randerson AM said of the winning entry,

"Jacob's design stood out because it was bright colourful, well designed and shows Cardiff at Christmas! But it was a very difficult choice to make, as the quality of the entries was very high."

If you are a resident of the Cardiff Central constituency and are writing to discuss any issue that Parliament or government is responsible for, you must provide your home address as MPs are generally only permitted to act on behalf of constituents.

If you are not a constituent, you do not need to provide your address, but the matters we can deal with are more limited and you may wish to contact your local MP in the first instance.
