TRICHOTECH AWARD PUTS CARDIFF ON INNOVATION MAP

Commenting on the news that Cardiff Central based hi-tech company, TrichoTech, has won the Wales Innovation Award 2009, Jenny Willott, Welsh Liberal Democrat MP for Cardiff Central, said:

"This is fantastic news. TrichoTech have an outstanding record of innovation and thoroughly deserve this award.

"In particular, their cutting-edge drug testing techniques have proved invaluable in tackling crime and helping to drive down drug addiction.

"This award helps to put Cardiff on the map as a centre of research and development and the beating heart of a growing Welsh high tech sector."
